Renewal by Andersen announced Beth Elder and the Elder family of Latrobe, Pennsylvania as the newest $10,000 winners of its “Renew Your Home Sweepstakes” contest.

Elder entered into the contest, which features quarterly grand prizes of  $10,000 in new replacement windows and doors*, at the RbA booth at a local home show. “Well, obviously I thought the grand prize was great—but unobtainable, of course. I think most people think, ‘Who out there ever wins the grand prize?’ I was really just hoping to win the Starbucks gift card!”

When she got the phone call telling her she won, she was surprised at first, and then thrilled. And ready—the Elder family already has a project lined up. “We own a 140-year-old brick farmhouse that constantly needs updating,” she says.

Fifteen years ago, they rebuilt/added a new kitchen using Andersen windows, but other areas of the house still needed work. “We’d been considering replacing our door system, and had been looking online when we discovered Renewal by Andersen.”

Armed with their grand prize, the Elders are now ready to pull the trigger on that project—none too soon, says Beth, especially since winter is coming. “Our doors and transoms are very old, and quite breezy. So now we will be getting two TOTALLY REDONE – including the one we use most often! I am thrilled. Thank you, thank you, very much!!”
